A Big Change

For most of my elementary to high school years, my hair was shoulder length or longer. Near the end of my senior year of high school, I decided to do something different and chopped my hair to a chin length bob. A couple years later, I decided it was time to grow it out again. Recently though, I have felt a need for a change. Hubby has never seen me with short hair, so with his blessing*, I took the plunge.

Norman, my stylist and owner of Tsu Salon, tied a pony tail and cut off about 12 inches. Then, he proceeded to cut off a few more inches as he styled my new bob. I have been going to him for about 12 years now, so I fully trust him with my hair. It was a big change, but I am happy with the results. It’s light and easy which is great because I will be using less hair product and my hair dries so much faster. I also plan to donate the 12 inch pony tail to Locks of Love.

What do you think: should I keep it short or grow it out?

* Hubby’s blessing = “As long as it grows back.”

  1. Because with short hair, it’s like I’m looking at myself in the mirror. And don’t get me wrong, that’s not too shabby. :P
