On New Year’s Eve, the SAGs gathered for our holiday lunch at El Rocoto.  We enjoyed a delicious meal; half of us ordered the Lomo Saltado.  Good stuff!  I had breakfast with my relatives right before meeting the girls, so I was not very hungry.  So, I enjoyed a delicious souffle.  It was the perfect fluffiness and just melted in my mouth.  Yummy goodness.

After lunch, we had our first white elephant exchange.  We had a $10 limit and involved the husbands.  We set the limit to two steals per gift, and there was a lot of stealing going on.  The gifts included: dvds, a book, sandwich cutter, tea infuser, balderdash, scrabble to go, 101 cookie cutters, and nutcracker statues.  I hope everyone liked their gifts!

I had a great time spending time wtih the SAGs and their families; it was a lovely way to close out 2009.
