N & D’s Wedding

July 24th was a beautiful day for N and D’s wedding at Eastern Presbyterian Church and USC Town & Gown.  We had a fantastic time sharing in their special day and seeing old friends.

We had forgotten how bad LA traffic can be and were a few minutes late for the ceremony.  Luckily, we made it in time to watch the gorgeous bride walk down the aisle with her dad.

After their wonderful ceremony, we headed over to USC for the reception.  N and D are die-hard Trojans, and even though we are Bruins, we love N and D enough to put the rivalry aside for one night.  We will just wait till December and see what happens on the football field.

Hubby and I had a little fun with the photobooth.  Looking good in big glasses and monkey hat, don’t you think?

Congratulations N & D!

Home Project: Paint Options

After several visits to the paint department, we settled on a few options to sample paint the living room wall.  Some of them turned out to be too dark or bold, so we surveyed the options again and came home with a couple more sample bottles of paint.  Finally, we narrowed it down to two colors: palm breeze and whispering peach.

For a better look at the colors, use the Behr website.

We plan to use these hardwood floors and the moldings will be white.  So, which color do you think we should paint our living room?  Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Middle Seat

Aisle Seat Passenger,

Hello.  Hope you are well.  I was the middle seat passenger sitting next to you on your most recent flight.  The petite Asian girl, you remember me, right?  I am glad you do because I have a few things I would like to go over with you.

1. Personal Space
Just because I fit comfortably in my seat with space on either side of me, it does not mean that you should try to occupy some of that space.  I like to keep the space around me clear, so that you do not touch me.

2. Armrests
The armrest is meant to be a divider between the two seats.  If you feel compelled to use it as an armrest, please be sure to allow me the opportunity to use it as well during the flight since it as a shared commodity.  I should not have to suffer through the flight with my arms at my side because you selfishly took over the armrest between us.  You have your own armrest on the aisle side, so please use that.

3. Space under the Seat
The space under the seat in front of you is also divided to indicate which area is for which seat.  My legs may be short, and I do not use all the space to stretch out.  However, that does not mean that you should put your foot under the seat in front of me.  This also circles back to the first point of personal space.

Please take my suggestions under consideration.  I promise you, the middle seat passenger next to you will be very thankful.

Regards,
Middle Seat Passenger
