Gary Danko

I am officially done recapping 2010.  Now on to the wonderful events of 2011.

On January 5, we spent some time with Hubby’s cousin J and her family in San Francisco.  They were visiting the city from Seattle.  While at their hotel, we took this lovely group shot.

L to R:  Hubby, me, J, baby A, and F

Per the concierge’s recommendation, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at Gary Danko.  The food was yummy, and we had a great time catching up.

Hubby’s 3-course selections:
Risotto with Lobster, Rock Shrimp, Shimeji Mushrooms, and Butternut Squash
Seared Filet of Beef with Leeks, Crimini Mushrooms, Braised Shallots, and Potato Cake
Flambeed Bananas with Mascarpone Filled Crepes, Graham Cracker-Pecan Streusel and Vanilla Ice Cream

My 3-course selections:
Lobster Salad with Asian Pear, Mango, Avocado, Cashews, and Lime Cilantro Remoulade
Seared Sea Scallops with Butternut Squash Puree, Apples, Caramelized Cauliflower and Tarragon
Trio of Creme Brulee with Assorted Cookies

These dishes were from Gary Danko’s Winter Menu.  We look forward to trying a different season’s menu in the future.
