Goslings

Back in May, we saw a family of geese roaming the streets by our house. It was so amazing to see how protective the Dad was as he stood in the street while the Mom and four goslings were closer to the curb drinking water. Standing guard, he risked his life (as many cars traveled swiftly down the street) to ensure the safety of his family.

The goslings were so adorable. Hubby was nice enough to pull over so I could video them waddling along. Too stinkin’ cute!

Whenever we drive down that street now, I am always on the lookout for goslings. But, I think I will have to wait till next spring to see more.

Moving Day…Again

Today is my third, THIRD! moving day in the last 13 months. First, after we got married, I moved from my parent’s house into Hubby’s apartment. Second, six months later, we moved from Southern California to Northern California. Now, seven months later, we are moving from the apartment into our house. I am tired of packing and moving, so hopefully this will be the last time for a good while.

Here’s some of our crap stuff stacked up in the living and dining rooms:

We rented a 16′ truck. Thankfully, everything fit for one trip. Scroll over to see the fully loaded picutre.

Off we go to unload the truck. Thank you S for all of your help with the move!

After my work laptop died, I have been a bad blogger. But, no more excuses because I have a new work laptop, which means that my personal laptop has free memory space again. Free memory space = lots of pictures!

There is so much to share, and I hope to back to regular posting next week. But for now, I will leave you with a teaser photo from our first anniversary vacation. Aloha!
