Aisle Seat Passenger,
Hello. Hope you are well. I was the middle seat passenger sitting next to you on your most recent flight. The petite Asian girl, you remember me, right? I am glad you do because I have a few things I would like to go over with you.
1. Personal Space
Just because I fit comfortably in my seat with space on either side of me, it does not mean that you should try to occupy some of that space. I like to keep the space around me clear, so that you do not touch me.
2. Armrests
The armrest is meant to be a divider between the two seats. If you feel compelled to use it as an armrest, please be sure to allow me the opportunity to use it as well during the flight since it as a shared commodity. I should not have to suffer through the flight with my arms at my side because you selfishly took over the armrest between us. You have your own armrest on the aisle side, so please use that.
3. Space under the Seat
The space under the seat in front of you is also divided to indicate which area is for which seat. My legs may be short, and I do not use all the space to stretch out. However, that does not mean that you should put your foot under the seat in front of me. This also circles back to the first point of personal space.
Please take my suggestions under consideration. I promise you, the middle seat passenger next to you will be very thankful.
Regards,
Middle Seat Passenger
